Unpacking Standards for Assessment

The process of unpacking standards is one of the cornerstones of curriculum mapping and instructional planning, but some processes stop short of aligning assessment with curriculum and instruction. Participants in this lab will be introduced to a five-step process for unpacking standards to support assessment design. In addition to the process, users will receive templates, tools, and examples that can be implemented immediately into instructional planning routines for teachers and teams.
